Compton USD VP Micah Ali Inaugurating Team Kids at Jefferson Clinton Elementary

Compton Unified School District Vice President Micah Ali is on the front line leading initiatives to empower students to make a difference in their community.

In partnership with Team Kids, Compton School Police, and the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, CUSD's students are participating in community service projects including: Donating gently used towels and blankets for an American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals-Los Angeles' animal shelter, donating gently used books and creating homemade bookmarks, and writing Valentine's Day cards for hospitalized veterans.
