Rancho Cucamonga, California — The Muscular Dystrophy Association is bringing strength to life for kids and adults in the Inland Empire community with muscular dystrophy, ALS and related muscle-debilitating diseases at the 2018 MDA Muscle Walk of Inland Empire on Saturday November 3, 2018. The MDA Muscle Walk is a meaningful way for families, friends, and neighbors in Inland Empire to come together to raise critical awareness and funds for muscle-debilitating diseases that severely weaken muscle strength and mobility. This year’s walk includes a route designed for participants of all ages and abilities on a wheelchair and equipment-friendly course around the home of the Quakes, the Rancho Cucamonga Epicenter. “There are kids and adults in our community living with muscular dystrophy and related diseases that take away everyday abilities like walking, playing, hugging and even breathing,” said MDA Regional Director John Seiber “When you support the MDA Muscle Walk you can help change that by helping us fund urgently-needed research, treatments and support that will help these individuals live longer and grow stronger. The Muscle Walk event is scheduled for 9:00AM Rancho Cucamonga Epicenter, 8408 Rochester Avenue, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730 To register, visit musclewalkmda.org/inlandempire or call your local MDA office at 424.532.3012 Every dollar raised through Muscle Walk benefits MDA’s mission to fund groundbreaking research across diseases and provide individuals with life-enhancing programs and support services, including state-of-the-art multidisciplinary care at local MDA Care Centers at Loma Linda. Funds raised also make MDA Summer Camp possible for kids where they can experience the best week of the year at no cost to their families.
