Comic Con Revolutions will return to Ontario in Spring 2018

ONTARIO >> Organizers of Comic Con Revolution, an event that made its debut in May and drew thousands of comic book and pop culture fans to the Ontario Convention Center, announced Wednesday the convention will be returning to the city next year.

Atomic Crush Events announced the convention will take place May 19 and May 20, 2018, at the Ontario Convention Center and offer two days of programming, according to a statement from organizers.

Organizers brought the event to Ontario this year for a one-day event that attracted aficionados of comics, pop culture and cosplay from across the Inland Empire.

Event organizers have already lined up a number of guests for the convention including Stan Sakai, comic book artist and creator of the comic series Usagi Yojimbo.

Also scheduled to participate in the event is Timothy Zahn, a science fiction and fantasy author known for a series of Star Wars novels.

“We’ve been hard at work reaching out to exciting and talented creators over the last few months,” Mike Scigliano, co-founder of Atomic Crush Events, said in a statement. “As each one confirms their participation, the first thing we think about is how our attendees will react to the news.”

The convention will include panel discussions and activities for all ages. The Cosplay Revolution Costume Contest also will be making its return.

“We were overwhelmed with the support and love that Ontario and the entire Inland Empire showed Comic Con Revolution last May,” Drew Seldin, a co-founder of Atomic Crush Events said in the statement. “It’s driven us to produce a bigger and better experience for 2018.”

Tickets are now being sold for the convention and can be purchased by going to the Comic Con Revolution website http://www.comicconrevolution. com/ontario/.
