CHINO HILLS PLANNING COMMISSION APPLICANTS SOUGHT APPLICATIONS DUE MAY 15TH
Chino Hills, CA – Mayor Ray Marquez is seeking applications from Chino Hills residents who are interested in serving on the Planning Commission. The vacancy is due to the resignation of Planning Commissioner Gary G. Larson, effective May 17, 2017.
Applications are due May 15th. Interviews will be scheduled and Mayor Marquez is expected to nominate an individual at the May 23rd City Council meeting. Members of the City
Council must affirm the appointment. The new Commissioner’s term will be effective through the end of Council Mayor Marquez’ City Council term – November 2018.
The Planning Commission meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. to review issues related to development and building and safety. The Commission
also reviews site plans, amendments to the Development Code and General Plan,
residential designs, design standards, and development standards.
Applications are available at City Hall, 14000 City Center Drive, or online at
www.chinohills.org/PlanningCommissionApp. Completed applications must be submitted to
the City Clerk’s office on the second floor at City Hall, 14000 City Center Drive, by 5:00
